So, its been since about April 14th that I havn’t had any dessert or sugar snacks. At first it was the hardest sugar exodus I’ve ever undertaken. I had not realized how much I had been nibbling here and there! Now, after a couple of weeks, i’m not tempted and not obsessed with the lack of it. I did pick up some tiny individually wrapped cutie squares of really dark chocolate. I had about 3/4 ‘s of a square the other night and it felt like a luxury. Yum. So, the scale has moved down 3 lbs, but is hovering. I’ll continue to try to move an extra 30 minutes every day and see how it does. Also will try to take my thryroid early in the a.m. w/o any other meds or foods. I’ll post any yummy concoctions I come up with to keep me healthy and happy. I have a personal challenge to incorporate alot more fresh veggies and fruit. I’m writing down what I’m eating and for two days all i’ve had was cooked veggies. Soups, tomato sauces, etc. Best go to the store and stock up.
