Good Monday Morning

What a glorious spring morning on the high desert!  We are trying to "spring up" the front  yard, so we have been busy watering, fertilizing and weeding out there.  It sure turned green quickly.  We discovered a whole line of roses on the south side of the house.  I think I need to trim out the dead spots, it still has dead roses from years gone by clinging on.   The apple tree sure seems to like the extra water and gave its approval by sprouting a ton of leaves and floweres on each little branch.  I’m so excited to finally have a flowering tree in my yard after 2 years of nothing.  So many flowers here that my heart is just so exceeding glad.

We are working on school wrapping up here, wrapping up the cub scout season as well.  We have one week left in our 1st Peter bible study. It has been awesome. We have 2 weeks of Cub Scouts.  I think we are doing Good  News through May, not sure.  I need to get a hold of the private tester to get a spot for Nathan, he is ready to take his Second grade test.

We are looking forward to Darren going to see his mama and g-g.  Getting his gear ready to get packed up.  The boys and I are going to a wedding on Saturday.  I’m working on figuring out a wedding card and some mothers day cards.  I’ll send them with darren, and bring mine on Friday.  My parent’s anniversary is coming up as well as Darren’s brother.  Wonder if there is a template for wedding/anniversary/mother’s day. ???? 🙂

Well, Jonathan is here ready to do math, so I best close down my mindless ramblings. 🙂
