Well  – Summer is here, and its HOT HOT HOT.  We had a couple of 100 degree days, today is supposed to be a cooler 87.  On Friday we purchased a one month family pass to our local public athletic facility.  It is really great.  Juniper Swim and Fitness is a part of Bend Park and Rec.  They have so much to do there that it makes ones head spin.  I really want to set a goal of going at least once a day for at least a half hour, even if it is by myself. I just need to get it in my schedule, and plan for Darren’s schedule.  I have aches in my legs and arms from the swimming, but it is a good ache.  I have sunburn on my shoulders back and chest from exposing my mountain white skin to the sun wearing a bathing suit that does not cover as nicely as a tank top. 🙂 It is crazy to see half naked people, wait, mostly naked people stand around and talk to each other in items of clothing that are less covering than your typical cotten undergarments.  We can go to an outdoor public place, and stand around barely covered, yet would never think of driving to Fred Meyer, strip down, and shop showing off our Hanes. Well, Most of us wouldn’t think about it. 🙂   I like my cover all swim suit, but my shoulders wish that the straps were larger. 🙂   Anywho – We have had alot of fun the past 2 days, and I’m sure we will go today.  I trust that my body and heart and muscles will be thankful come August when I’m back in shape again.
