This year, we decided to not be vigilantes in knocking down bee nests. Well, the profit of that decision has been clear this fall. We have had many more fruits and flowers than we have ever grown previously! We have not been hurt by our little friends as of yet. (Jon did "play" with some paper wasps in the field and decided they just weren’t friendly and has a nice bruise and needle track type marks on his thumb to prove it.) The family has enjoyed watching the more productive little flying friends. They bobble up and down trying to fly straight , working so hard to move the masses of yellow pollen caked on their feet and under bellies. For a walk through the garden, see the Photo Album. 🙂
