My good buddy Kat came to my 911 call to help me move my living room around on Friday night.  I thought I just wanted the TV moved so that I could get to the heater vent that the buffet cupboard was covering.  As we started moving this piece and that, we ended up completely rearranging 3 rooms and cleaning/gutting two others.   Now, all of the "guest" room items are out of the "play" room.  The TV is gone, and the hideabed is in the living room.  All of the "class" items are completely out of the dining room and living room and have all been put in the guest room.  All of the buffet/hutch items are in the dining room.  Only couches and tables are in the living room.  Hard to explain, but it really really feels like a new house.  Darren even commented on how he likes the new house, and the boys keep saying it feels like we moved.  It is really really pleasant to sit at the table and enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee and not be surrounded by home learning odds and ends. Of course, I sit here at the computer with a cup of joe and home learnin’ paraphanalia all around me. 🙂 The Hutch is now in the dining room, and the bookshelves are now in the class/craft room.
