Craft Night

Who doesn’t need a little girl time?  Add crafts and I’m in! I love to have busy fingers, but I don’t love doing dishes and folding clothes and making food at all hours of the day to keep busy.  I do love doing school, but I don’t love it being my whole personality character and conversation.  So, my way out is my stamps.  I love paper products.  Paper Projects.  Hubby says I like to take an innocent piece of paper, cut it to a bazzillion pieces and then glue it back together again.  And his point is . . . . . Anyways.  I just love the water coloring, the pencil coloring, the gamasols, the chalks, the markers, the ink pads.  I love quietly coloring in a stamped image. I love thinking about the person I’m going to send the card to, praying for them while I’m making the card. I love knowing that people enjoy receiving things in the mail, especially a hand made item. I love having a girl place in my all boy home that I can be free to be creative and pink and purple and green. and blue. and orange. and brown. and yellow.  sorry, got distracted.  I took a few pictures of what the class room looks like when its in craft mode.

This is Baby Cakes babysitting the Guinea Pig, Mudgy.

I just made this station today.  A tool turnabout from Pampered Chef doubles as a Punch Holder. 🙂  The drawer with the colored paper slides into my desk. Radio for music.  Stacks of ink for um, well everyone needs stacks of ink.

My friends have made mention of my O.C. personality. I’m not sure why . . . . I have the most artistic friend EVER on the coast and she would NEVER be able to craft in my room.  I, on the other hand, can only think when I know where every tiny little thing is.  If I’m thinking of a lost set of stamps from micheals, then I can’t focus on the little fishy I’m coloring.  These little boxes can come out, and they each hold a speciality.  Water color, extra ink, embossing, embellishments, scrapbooking paper, hmmm, if someone who lives near marshfield is reading this, their grandaughter’s picture is in my chalk drawer . . . .  Everything is labled, mostly so other people, guests, children, friends, can PUT THINGS BACK.  Um, I mean, find things easily. 🙂

These are a few of the sets available for people to use.  Um, This may not be half of them.  . . . . .

If you need to research something on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com here is the place.  Have a cup of tea and look for some inspiration!!!  Or, play some webkins. 🙂  The boys stay here and play webkins while I stamp.  What is webkins?  http://www.webkins.com .

So come on over, pull up a chair, and work on a project.  No ideas? No tools?  I’ve got plenty to share. Need to work on some cards?  I have a lot of pre-made projects that you can put together for that I did it myself feeling. 🙂

Here’s how easy it can be to work with a couple of sets:

Best Fishes, and Polka Dots and Petals, Scallop Punch, Ballet Blue, Only Orange, White.

So Many Scallops, Green Galore, Only Orange, Real Read, Yo Yo Yellow, Brilliant Blue.

And of course, what day wouldn’t be complete without hearing the Spider Pig Song.

Spiderpig, Spider Pig, Does What ever a spider pig does.  Can he Spin? Spin a Web? No he can’t. He’s a Pig. Watch OUT, He’s a Spider Pig.  You have NO idea how many times I hear this in a  day.   Good thing I have  a Very Puny set  for little man:

By the way, the pig goes over to eat the cupcake.  Says, jon.

Come and join us anytime for some stampin fun!
