The month of January has been eventful – amazing – humbling and exciting. We had a great start to the school year – spent a couple of days in Coos Bay to visit hubby’s brother and mama – and during the trip got a call to offer him a job!!! He will be starting at Bi-Mart on Monday on track to be a Manager. Very cool. Sunday is his last day at Radio Shack. Maybe I should go in tomorrow and see if there is any little thing I need a discount on ????
The VA also sent some monies to our account due to Darren’s surgery in August – so we have been buying toys. Like a new broom for me. New undies for hubby. Psp’s for the boys. WHAT? Thats not fair! So this little keeper stalked craigslist til she got herself the BlackBerry Pearl 8130. Now I’m hyper texting myself and syncing my calendar and email – I’ll be so organized that I might have more time to watch Alias from NetFlix. . . . .
Now I feel quite overwhelmed by it all – I’ll have to journal those thoughts some time – but I have no words yet. So-I do what anyone with a wandering thought and an obsessive compulsive disorder does – clean, organize, plan, prepare – Good thing my friends are moving to Georgia – Oh I didn’t mean it was good they are moving – good they need help moving – as for two days it kept my hands busy while my mind prayed. I am QUITE sad that the family will be gone and missed terribly.
So – now that they are boxed up and ready – I move my OC to the little pebble’s school. Since one toy we bought was new ink for the broken printer – turns out it was out of ink – not broken . . .I can start using Homeschool Tracker again. Oh How I LOVE this program. . . . I have steadily updated where we were in our book academics – but it is a wonderful way to print out the day’s agenda – Woo Hoo. Also got to inflict this addiction on a friend this afternoon. Whoot! Whoot! Yes – the euforia of over organization. Can you believe I consider myself an unschooler? Crazy.
