Curriculum

http://www.timberdoodle.com/Complete_Homeschool_Curriculum_Sixth_Grade_p/999-0600.htm Be still my heart. . . . Another email from Timberdoodle. What lovely items will they offer that I will now know exist and find a need to covet???? I have been asking many of my friends – what are you thinking of for junior high? for High School. So many people are going towards total curriculum packages – from the school districts – at home or in the classroom. It makes me wonder what drives the desire? As most of you know who have been reading my blog – the Lord seems to be updating – reinforcing- retraining- changing my thinking on alot of things in my life. Figuring out which areas to continue my stand – which areas to get off of the soap box for a bit. I should not find it at all surprising that today – after having yet three more conversations today about home learning – that I find myself once again connected to my homeschool mentors that helped to guide me on the path I’m currently on. They didn’t say walk this way or that – but rather challenged me to seek out through prayer with the entire family – which way the Lord wanted us to go – write it down – remember – rethink – remember. So – as the home learning groups seem to come and go – trends come and go – opportunities come and go – I sit back and remember how and why we started. I remember the goals the Lord gave to my husband and to myself for the boys that he gave us as a gift – I remember that the told us what we would do – and how we would do it – and His promise to always give us the tools and the strength to keep going. Tools. Timeberdoodle. It makes my mouth water. . . . . . Joy.
