Of Facebook and Farmville

I am addicted. To Facebook. To Farmville. To my friends’ photos. To randomly posted music videos. To knowing exactly what is on my friends’ minds. I don’t like the TV on. I have not been excited about any current movies or TV shows. I am not in a good book right now. Its therapy. My IRL (In Real Life) garden is dwindling as fall quietly creeps on the scene, dipping into the 30’s at night just enough to halt production. I need to go out and rake up the beautiful mulch around the plants. I might do that this afternoon when the brisk cool air warms up and hubby as the marinated roast on the grill.  But not now. Now I need to check my trees. Install some new fencing. Rethink my design. Pet my animals. Harvest some watermelon. Plant some tomatoes. Stroll through the neighbors farms, help them with weeding or scaring crows.  Collect Eggs and Milk and Down Feathers. Sell some overpopulated trees. Look at the awards to see if there are any I am close to earning.  Virtual farming. I love it. I have NO idea why. I am not working on my tan. I can not talk to the neighbor over the fence, but I can leave them a note. I think I like the simplicity and organization of it all. Move this here and there. Straighten this. Grow that. Buy. Sell. Grow. Harvest. Plow.  I might even be inspired to work on my own strawberries IRL.. . Might.
