Jamba Juice Obsession

We made it in Bend for almost 5 years without the boys knowing what Jamba Juice was.  Then it happened. Nate got a gift card from youth group (see youth group hurts your kids!), and now he’s addicted to Passion Fruit Smoothies.  We tried one from a local joint here in Lincoln City, but it tasted like one of my first bad offerings of learning to make smoothies, and Jon’s Strawberry Banana tasted like well, ice, strawberries and a whole banana. Go figure, but they still charged us over $4.00.

A little research on the internet led us to this site Jamba Juice Caribbean Passion = Heaven on Earth and Easy to Make! and off to the store to gather the ingredients.  We were at $13.00 at the first store, with some celery and apples thrown in, and then 5.00 at the Grocery Outlet, Bargain Market for the sherbet and frozen berries.  So far I’ve made three huge Magic Bullet smoothies, two Passion and one Strawberry, and the supplies don’t even appear to have a dent taken out of them.  Think its a profit thing?  Now I have the title of Best Mom Ev-Ar again. Life is grand. 🙂
