Well, we have the boat all blown up and repaired – ready for some fun! – Then found out that Uncle Sam has regulated us out of the water!

Paddle Fee for a boat over 10 ft – $7.00
Regstration for a boat of 15 feet – $45.00 + $5.00 invasive species fee = $50.00
Boat Education Cards for 4 – around $120.00

So – We spent the Boat Education Card monies on a trolling motor – that the boys are able to drive – (Jon can’t drive until he is 12 on our outboard). Registered the boat for a V-Day gift to hubby, which covers the Paddle Fee. (rolls eyes)  We will get registered in a class to take the test for the card in a bit – but this is the fast way to get on the lake. 🙂
