Now that we’ve lost the fever of finding floats, we’re back to our favorite walks – the most fav is from 72nd to the end of the cliffs – better yet – to the other side of the cliffs on a low tide. 🙂 We only had time today at high tide, lots of debris on the beach, found a few agates, a few white limpid shells, and tons of fun. Enjoy!

Thanks Heather! I just read a paper from the Neskowin School – and saw alot of what we do – at their school. It validates our way of doing things. 🙂 The boys are making popscicle military bases today, . .. . . Burnt Fingers Abound. 🙂 Thanks for the comment!
I stumbled upon your blogs a couple of months ago while looking at a FB page for my 3 yr old nephew. It was almost surreal to find out later on that not only were you guys homeschoolers (we are newbies – since Feb. '09) but you're from Bend (we are from Central Oregon now in CA) and now living on the coast…we have been trying to sell out and move for almost 4 years now! I just felt a connection…or something and continued to read. Your blogs have been such an inpiration. There are days when I don't have a lot of confidence in my decision to homeschool but on more than one occassion your writing has given me the boost I need. Oh…and it doesn't hurt that you post absolutely beautiful pictures of the most amazing place on earth! 🙂 My family has really enjoyed them. Thanks so much for sharing!
