The mornings have been quiet on the lake – and then I realized – no more honking to wake up. I now hear a chorus in the trees that did not exist through the winter months.

The Canadian Geese, Mallards and Margsingers are all gone. A family of coots are here, 2-3 mallards and 2 geese are all that remain.  I am wondering who will be coming for the summer?
