A Little Hail –

IMG_3441To anyone in the country past the coast – white on the ground is fairly normal in the winter. But we are at sea level. In NW Oregon. And its APRIL!!!

Jon went out to make a Hail Man, then got out the ladder to clean out the gutters.  I went out to help take photos.

Its spooky funny how similar we are – as when the rain started feeling like little darts on my head I ran under the eave there to protect myself, and then just laughed – thinking – What, its not like it will pick up into golf or softball sized hail or anything. I guess our reaction got trained in Tornado Ally eh?

  2. We were out in a similar hail storm that day around noon in Salem. I haven't written the blog post yet but we ran and got back to the van just before the worst of it! WOW! At least we aren't in Okla still where we have to worry about golf ball size or bigger! As we were sitting in the van getting pelted, I told the boys about Okla weather. =)

I love to hear from my readers, I appreciate comments!
