Oh. I apologize in advance. We’ve been waiting all winter wondering who the first babies would be. Then – all of the birds disappeared for a few weeks. Just this week – So many birds have come to the lake. I just get an adrenaline rush trying to figure out who they all are. We are keeping our dog pretty much inside, taking her for long hikes on the beach instead. Wondering who will pick our side of the lake for babies – and today – today – it happened! Jon spotted the first babies at a neighbors house eating grass in their yard. The whole family got into the lake and swam RIGHT OVER to our yard, like they wanted a photo shoot. Oh. I was so stinking excited. So- like a foster parent, I have taken a half a million photos, 42 this morning to be exact. I’ll share a few here with you . . . . . So – ya – sorry for the paparazzi photo shoot.
This is sunset tonight – about 6:30ish pm – drinking a great white wine with an amazing soup – Oh so Yummy.
The First photo of Geese. Jon said – what are those little birds? Eating with the Geese? OH BABIES!!!! So cute. We had Canadian Geese Babies in the lake by our Deschutes Market Home, but these are the geese that wake us up each day. We LOVE them. 🙂
Ma and Pa take the little ones out to the little part of the lake and the most south eastern edge.
These were all taken with 40x zoom on the camera – then they swam to our lawn!! woo hoo!
At least I didn’t post all forty shots! They were SOOOO cute!
View without zoom from the deck.
