Fabulous First Day of the Week – Fabulous way to start September!

I was blown away this morning when all of the songs were about building on the firm foundation of Christ and His Word!

Petra – Petra School – Is our name.  I don’t talk about it online much – but I thought I’d share a bit this morning – Of how – way back when – 7 years ago – we sat down as a family – to name our school. Give it a name. Substance. The boys jokingly said Rock School. They have been rock hounds since way back. 🙂 They were 2 and 5 at the time. 🙂 A prayerful lightbulb went off – verses flooded into my mind – of how Christ is the Rock. The Petra. The Firm Immovable Foundation. And of Peter. The Petros. The piece of that rock. And that’s when my online name changed from AngNate – to Pebblekeeper. (Jon would have found out someday anyway – that I created my online name while nursing Nate in the wee hours of the night and JonAngNateDar really doesn’t have a good ring to it. . . .) anyways –  I became the keeper of the pebbles. Knowing – that they belonged in His Hands. Darren and I began a walk. Of faith. In His Path. Each year He lays out before us what the boys are to learn. Character Academic Physical. Life Lessons. In the Word. In Life.

And this morning – I was looking forward to a church family BBQ & Outdoor Movie to kick of the school year – when our beautiful pianist choose all of our theme songs for our corporate worship this morning. The boys got excited. I was elated. We were once again convinced of His Hand in our Journey. What a perfect start – A Blessing – On our Petra School.
