When Revelations speaks of the Streets of Gold – will he have side streets of Agate Beds? Will we get to spend hours on end picking through the rubble to make more streets? I think so.

Here in Lincoln City – the agate beds are waking up after a warm slumber, the thick quilt of sand is being turned back by the storms.  Petrified Wood, Jasper, Quartz, Fossils, Agetized Clams and Creatures, Black Banded Agates, Sugar Agates, Clear Agates – Blue Sea Glass, Green Sea Glass, White Sea Glass – so plentifuly, one can walk over specimens and choose which to pick up. Nathan choose clear to honey banded agates, I was on a Purple and Red kick. I got a couple of large purple to pinks.

These are no tiny pebbles. Palm Size. Oh Ya. Baby. In the corner of heaven I’ll be assigned to – this is what our streets will be lined with. 🙂 Do I have any rockhound friends out there? What is your favorite color or type to collect?
