December 23, 1989 – Present! An Beyond!
Today is our 21’st Anniversary – We celebrated on his day off yesterday –
This year, so many of my friends have separated – legally divorced – living together yet apart – living apart but wishing they were together –
That I felt the need to really make a big day of it. Usually, our Anniversary get swept into the preparations with Christmas Eve, We’ve yet to go out to dinner on our Anniversary.
Even this year – a friend gave us a gift certificate to go out to eat – but the restaurant as closed yesterday and today. Gotta Love Tradition!
Since Darren was a professional cook – and I have been known to whip up a little of this and that – we had an amazing dinner at home. ![]()
Here are a few of our baby pictures!
My Friend that was my maid of honor – is now my sister in law – she married Darren’s Brother. Her sister, standing to the Left of the West Point uniform, behind the mom in Blue, is on her final days this week fighting Cancer. My prayers go out to Tara and all of the families involved.
The little card was in my album, In Some things, you just have to go on faith. The little Precious Memories was the topper to our cake. I’ve thought of 20 posts to write about our anniversary – but I will leave it to this – Celebrate. Kiss your Husband. Kiss your Sister. Keep your Lamps ready for His return!

Congrats! (a day late)
Thanks for all of the well wishes everyone!
Happy anniversary! Sorry it’s tinged with sadness this year.
Happy Anniversary!
(I had the same Precious Moments figurine for my cake topper…..too funny!)
Thanks for sharing your anniversary with us.
I know this year has shaken your foundations a bit with so many marriages failing, but as we’ve talked so many times, there is a firm foundation that can never be shaken, and it is upon that Rock which we build our marriages and our lives. As one who is ‘apart but wishing we were together’, I celebrate with you both. Praying you continue to grow in love for each other and the Lord.
All that divorce really breaks my heart…like so much else right now…Thank God for the commitment you have made to each other! Happy Anniversary!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Did your husband attend West Point? It’s just 15 minutes from my house, and one of the prettiest places around here.
Enjoy your day, and may God Bless you both.
