First – Nate’s not real happy to get his picture taken. Just so ya know. But we told him, Jon and I, that he was askigng for it. Really. We had just gotten back from our walk on the beach. Nathan throws on his wet suit top, instead of a sweat shirt. Cause. It keeps him warm. Ya. That’s his answer. Keeps him warm. Rolls Eyes. The hat – has a light on it. Not sure why we need that. But. There is a storm going on. We could loose electricity. and He wouldn’t be able to look up words in the thesaurus for his The Write Foundation homework.
But we’re in Jr. High. Middle School boys are weird. I’m getting used to that. Except. It doesn’t end here – Did you know he was counting money for Monopoly?
While playing with his brother? Who seems to have the same strange desire for the lights to flicker.
While mom’s coffee sits cold. Monopoly. I do remember having memories of liking this as a kid. But as an adult. Really. What’s the point? Sigh. He asked for it though. Right? Nate? Middle School Boys are Weird.
