Taco Force! Rookie Lego Team

Posted on October 17, 2010 by +Angie Wright

ORTOP First Lego League Rookie So – How does a First Lego League Rookie Team come up with a name? We started at the white board, writing down everything that each team member called out.  Somewhere – we got hungry and the word Taco came out. They started yelling out Movie titles like GForce. Next thing you know, Taco is now staring every title – and gets meshed with GForce. Taco Force. πŸ™‚ The next week the homework was to create a photo of what Taco Force looks like so we could use it on these posts and on our costumes and posters at Tournament. We voted to use the little parts of each design to create one master team smashup logo!  There is suposed to be a cute little Guinea  Pig holding up the Taco World – but alas. I couldn’t work it in. It has been fun playing in Photoshop – which is why I was in the mood to do mess with Flat Tim on Pioneer Woman’s site this week. :)  (Ya, I’m going to working that in for a while. πŸ™‚ )

This week we voted to have Planet Taco on the bottom or not, Little Taco Eating Mini fig on the Hat or on our Taco Force Flag – Flag and Taco Planet won. So – a little bit of cleaning it up – and here ya have it!

I like the yellow taco in the flag and in the taco that the Robot is eating – but Jon said BW was better, so I did a saturated overlay.

Yeah Taco Force! Taking over the Planet!!!!
