Competition was pretty fierce. Running into the water as soon as the 5 minute pre-heat buzzer sounded.

They post the scores for the first heat, and save the scores for the send. You get a combined score from two heats. Jon got the highest score – 12.5 and 1st place boys 13-15 in his first heat.
There was a pretty good showing for today!

This is his friend Savannah – They are on the Russo Surfboards Team. She won first place 13-15 girls and he won first place 13-15 boys. An excellent start to summer!!!
