This week – Music in the Renaissance Circa 1350-1620. I knew it wasn’t going well when Nate got up and sat in the stairwell to finish his worksheet. I asked where he was going – he says – I can’t do my work while “that music” is on. But – This is the music we are supposed to be listening to. . . .
So I pushed pause, and loaded the next selection.
This one didn’t go over much better – but – what we did find was fun for Jon and I –
This time, the son is being sung, and at 6 seconds into the song – a drawing of the same bird from our lesson is on the screen. We were excited.
I think I’m going to re-visit our Composer Studies from Barb at Harmony Art Mom – We had a really hard time today reading through the text – filling in useless blanks, Nate and I were not into it, Jon left to go fishing and we had to call him back in. I know not everything can be exciting – and exposure is good, but I don’t want to torture them. Well. Not much.
