This is a large plant growing at the Siletz Bay, right at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean. It is along a path – in the sea grass – I have not seen this plant before. As the bells close up, a green/purple fruit forms, and then turns bright red. The leaf is Lanceolate, the Pistil is Yellow, Petals are Purple. The plant looks similar to Tomato in it’s growth.
Any ideas Plant Friends?
The I got as close as a Tall Bluebell – but I don’t think so – because the leaves are different.
