2011 Spring Series – Spring Cattail Observations
This is our one Year return to our favorite easy to access cattail spot. Last year we found Snakes, this year we found some sort of Eggs. It has been raining the last 30+ days straight, so the water was a lot more clear and higher this year. We noticed that it seemed to have more cattails there than last year. The boys cut down quite a few “tails” to use for torches. Last year we could only get 4-5, this year they have armfuls and we didn’t make a dent. We went between rain blasts, but would like to walk the adjoining trail again soon.
