I  LOVE Google’s Calendar features, especially for homeschooling different ages and keeping track of the needs of four people!  You can have several calendars, each with different colors, all merged into one. What a creative organizational joy to move appointments and subjects here and there.  It has the ability to allow you to share a calendar with a friend – ease in coordinating activities. In the months of August and September, it is my most favorite thing to do.  It think I blogged earlier about my joy of schedules.  With a sixth grader and a third grader it can be tough to fit in a balance of group/single family/our family activities.

Until this morning. Joy. Mixed with sorrow. Mixed with closure. Mixed with anticipation.  Wonder. Reflection. Sadness, but not enough to ruin the great job I did on my eyeliner this morning. 🙂 I went in to schedule a couple of things and realized my calendar is full of this semester’s classes and appointments in Central Oregon. Delete, All Following, over and over. But the eyeliner is super thin and just the right line on my lid. It just won’t do to leak this morning.  All my little boxes in my calendar app are unpacked. Ready for adventure, ready for rest, ready.
