A walk through the Connie Hansen Gardens in Lincoln City, Oregon,
gave me over a hundred flower pictures. Beautiful Spring!

I didn’t realize how far ahead of us in seasons Oregon was. I always imagined it as a northern state with northern climate.
Our snow finally melted this week. I hope to see pretty flowers like you have soon.
Beautiful.
Oh, so pretty. I love your buds : )
Love your beautiful photo of the star magnolia!! We had one in our front yard at our previous home and I miss that tree. It was always the first thing that bloomed in early spring.
Beautiful flowers. I love Oregon it is a beautiful state.
Wow! That first shot is Elegant! But I’m kinda partial — Magnolias are my favorite tree! 🙂
How beautiful!!! Loved that magnolia~
Oh how perfectly wonderful! Love the magnolia especially. We won’t have lovely blooms like that for at least 3 or 4 weeks here. Enjoy!
Yes! “Star magnolia (Magnolia stellata) is one of the smallest magnolias, producing a showy cloud of white flowers in early spring. Originally from the highlands of the Japanese island of Honshu, it is sometimes considered a variety of M. kobus but of garden origin.” http://www.hort.wisc.edu/mastergardener/features/woodies/starmagnolia/Magnolia%20stellata.htm
Is that a star magnolia? You are a fellow oregonian!
Ooooo… those purple flowers are GORGEOUS!!! And the top white one… I can almost feel the velvety petals. Lovely!
