He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! We missed the Sunrise Service in Taft, although we heard they did get to have it on the pier and around 50 people rejoiced together. We headed out north of town around 7:50 – for a walk to look for beach debris after high tide – before going to Easter Breakfast at Gleneden Church. John 21:1-14 tells of the Lord helping to gather fish and cooking breakfast for the disciples - after the resurrection – so Gleneden Church calls it the Easter Feaster – we had biscuits and eggs instead of fish and honeycomb, but it was still delightful to join together! We headed out to the beach after the service, but were blown clear off. Even the pooch was hiding in a stair well, guarding her ball, peeking out every few seconds, declaring her desire to return to the car. . . .
We are planning on BBQ Brisket, Steamed Potatoes, Carrots and Cabbage with salad and Strawberry four layer pie for dessert . . .for eats this afternoon. Good Times.
