I’m taking the leap – as our one year on the lake by the ocean comes to an end – and we look forward to another year before our next transfer. I’ve tried to decide if I wanted to merge the blogs into Blogger or into WordPress. The ultimate decision came from how much control I would have in the long run. I can easily transfer this blog to my own domain on my own WordPress software on a hosted site – should I decide to take the route of paying monthly for a domain again. The longer I go forward in Blogger, the more I feel tied to them.
I’ve spent the last 24 hours re-centering photos, working on links, re-coding from the Java to the HTML from blogger to wordpress. I wish I would have kept track of all of the sites that were so very helpful to me. I am grateful for their willingness to post help for free on line! If you are browsing through our Beach and Lake Schooling areas and find a missing photo or broken link – feel free to let me know! With over 300 posts, it is a bit hard and time consuming to go through them one by one. On September 22nd, We will have been in Lincoln City, Oregon for a year. . . . I’m wondering – would y’all like to see 30 posts by the 22nd to have an average of 1 post per day? Oh Come On. I wouldn’t do that to you. Maybe. I’m feeling the challenge of it though. No. I wouldn’t .
Thank you so much as you have been so graceful for watching me learn to blog this year – and for your grace in staying tuned as I combine all of our family posts with the homeschooling posts. It is hard to share our life without sharing all of it. Our relaxed learning is a daily lifestyle – From Beach to Land to Lake. 🙂
Stay with me as we go through another year? Thanks.

I hear you on wanting to break ties from Blogger before you have too many posts to bring over. I’ve been on Blogger for 3 years now and have almost 500 posts. As for the daily posting…well, I’ve been doing my best to do that since June. Considering all the different kinds of posts on the one blog, it isn’t hard to do.
I love your new look :o)
