Storms Slam the Pacific!

DSCN7141

I write this while thunder booms over head and flashes of lightning race across the sky over the lake. The Sky is a mass of clouds – every shape, variety and type.

DSCN7228 Nate and I ventured out at low tide this morning for a walk – Low Tide did not really exist – as it was higher than any of the high tides of summer. Here is a link to my Picassa Album – http://picasaweb.google.com/pebblekeeper/October242010MorningStormPhotosRoadSEndStatePark?feat=directlink – of the photos taken this summer. If you are studying types of clouds, cirus, nimbus, cumulonimbus, nimbostratus, and altocumulos  – you will like our 2 hour walk this morning. 🙂

We took a few photos on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. There has not been any place to walk on the beach with the high water line – high tides – and surges. Mostly drive up photo shoots around Lincoln City.  Here is the Album for Sat/Sun – http://picasaweb.google.com/pebblekeeper/WinterStormOctober242010RoadsEndLincolnCity?feat=directlink There are only about 12 photos here.

Let me know what types of beach shots you are craving and I’ll try to get them. 🙂

  2. Stopping by from the Hip Homeschool Mom hop, but you know I stop here anyway. Loved your pictures- especially the last one you took at 5:30- beautiful!

We were able to retrieve some of our most treasured items from storage this weekend and my daughter found her beloved beach glass…really made us miss the time we spent oceanside!

    Have a great week! 🙂
