Multi Tasking while HomeSchooling

DSCN7281First – Nate’s not real happy to get his picture taken. Just so ya know. But we told him, Jon and I, that he was askigng for it. Really. We had just gotten back from our walk on the beach. Nathan throws on his wet suit top, instead of a sweat shirt. Cause. It keeps him warm. Ya. That’s his answer. Keeps him warm. Rolls Eyes.  The hat – has a light on it. Not sure why we need that. But. There is a storm going on. We could loose electricity. and He wouldn’t be able to look up words in the thesaurus for his The Write Foundation homework.

But we’re in Jr. High. Middle School boys are weird. I’m getting used to that. Except. It doesn’t end here – Did you know he was counting money for Monopoly?

While playing with his brother? Who seems to have the same strange desire for the lights to flicker.

DSCN7277 While mom’s coffee sits cold. Monopoly. I do remember having memories of liking this as a kid. But as an adult. Really. What’s the point? Sigh. He asked for it though. Right? Nate? Middle School Boys are Weird.

Some people don’t understand when I say “unschool” it doesn’t mean we don’t do learning activitied, I just mean – it rarely if ever looks anything like PS. 🙂 That’s a great picture in my mind of mario and pencils and sisters!

Hey we are on the same spot in writing 😉 LOL I should have taken a pic of Jeff cause he was trying to race on Mario Kart while asking questions of his sister so that he could do the ‘homework’ assignment. Pencil in one hand, Wii wheel in the other… Although, no hat with a light on it (But he would if he had one!)
And since I didn’t have any boys in my life until my ds- I say ALL boys are weird but especially Middle School Boys!

I love to hear from my readers, I appreciate comments!
