If We Keep Our Voices Silent – All Creation Will Rise and Shout – If we Fail to Praise You Father – Then Will the Very Rocks Cry Out – "
This song has been streaming through my mind the couple of days – Today – as we gather to give thanks – Give Glory to the Most High King.
My mom sang this at Putnum City Baptist Church when she was in the Choir there – She’s a Tenor – which was cool because I could always find her! Here’s a link to the song if you do not know it or need a refresher:
Then Will the Very Rocks Cry Out!

I am thankful for Christ and the Cross. Call me a Jesus Freak – but without this first –nothing else in my life makes sense, brings joy, gives hope, refreshes or provides. Any item or circumstance after this – is trivial. :) I do have alot – as an American, as a Mom of great boys, as a Wife to a great Husband and Father, as a caretaker of a crazy dog living in paradise (even if it feels like we’re going through a car was right now) – to be thankful for. My life is really as amazing as it is typed out here. Simple. Cozy. Beautiful. Full of Mercy and Grace.
I am thankful to you- my faithful readers – for following along!!!!!!!

and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! My husband and I would sing that every year in our Baptist choir. (we both sang until all the Hodgepodge came along. We’ll get back to it) A favorite! (he’s the tenor and I’m the alto 🙂 I have it humming around in my head now…then will the very rocks cry out! Thanks.
Glad I could bring back a great memory! I had some of the words remembered wrong, this was the best recording I could find of it. Glad to have joyful thoughts in my brain. 🙂 I’m a 1st soprano – but as the 40’s have come along, I seem to be more of an alto. . . . . 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving friend. We are, indeed, blessed women to know Him and of his graces poured our lavishly…
and these sweet boys and our husbands, a good life. 🙂 And pie.

We had Pie Buffet at 4:00. Good Gravy is my stomach stretched to the hilt!!! Swashed it down with coffee, making promises of long hikes in the morning. 🙂
Happy thanksgiving to you all!
