In the blink of an eye.

A marriage is shattered. A life is altered. People drift apart.

Typed words are misconstrued. Spoken words are misunderstood. Actions are misrepresented and judged.

A father drowns. A family is thrown into the grips of grief.

Children will gather. The mourning will be intense.

My heart has been so heavy today, knowing He is at work – but not knowing what.

Receiving a phone call – where all the pieces come together.

I am sure there are many. But there is a family. One in particular. Of whom I am sure feels like they are slipping. Tomorrow will never be what it was yesterday. Not for any of us. But Definitely Not for my Friend.

And yet. God had a plan. He is not surprised. and My friend feels this overwhelming peace.
