While typing away at blog posts  –
I overhear a conversation between Jon and a friend on the cell phone in the driveway – through the window to my left.
I hear the words – “That is the biggest worm I’ve seen in a long while – I know what to do with him!” spoken in a tone of voice only achieved by a 10 yr old boy.

(Instead of TYING that balloon and picking up a fresh one, he empties it out.)

Now the conversation is back to the normal of Dogs, Roblox, iPods, Electronics, Fishing  and well – Whatever it is that 10 year old homeschool boys talk about.  Jon has no idea I’m listening or watching . . . .

Uh.Oh.  The Hose!

Mind you, he’s been talking a mile a minute
about topics totally unrelated
to water balloons, summer, worms, or death.

He spotted me after this.
Showed me his swimming worm.
I guess it is as humane as feeding the worm to the fishies. . . . Funny Kid.
