We met some friends from out of town at high tide at the Yaquina bay. What a treat to spend the day watching the ships go by . . .
The Children Explore. . . .
The birds swim by (Harlequin Duck), . . .
2 Lighthouses in view, Yaquina Head and Yaquina Bay Lighthouses. . . .
Jumping from the rocks. . .
Flying Kites. . . .
Stopping traffic trying to Street Kite Surf
Trips to the Science Center
And the drive home. How long were we there? Under 2 hours. . . . Nathan was there to pick up an XBox 360 he purchased off of Craigslist. He talked the guy down over 200 dollars from the original asking price. Crazy Kid. Same day we were driving down, Wonder in the Woods was diving in the bay, and asked if we’d be around. It was one of those perfect days, glad to be a homeschooler on a Monday in February on the Oregon Coast!
I think Beach Schooling is my favorite!
You have so many great regional photos and blog posts. I would live it if you linked-up with I saw it on Vacation.
