Spring Color Walk

We are blessed to have a vacant lot next to us, in the form of a small forest.  To the south of that property, is a vacant home – owned by a bank. This spring we’ve gotten a bit more bold about walking the trails around that home, which was once a property kept up to botanical garden type standards.  It is is sort of sad to watch the natural world overtake someone’s hard meticulous work. Secretly, unless a large family of boys moves in – we’re pretty happy to have the extra walking trails. Smile
