When this view brings everyone to the window as the best sunset in a couple of weeks – you know that we’ve been craving Sun and Blue Sky for sure.

We were pretty excited for the one day trip over the Central Oregon Cascades to see Blue Sky!  So Glorious. I took so many photos while driving – that hubby took my camera away and hid it. Ha. 

Our car started overheating at the top of the hill – so we pulled over to let it cool down. Nate took a few photos, after quickly finding about 10 grasshoppers and a snake. The car cooled down and we were on our way.

We got to meet up with a couple of friends – had a great VA appointment – Nate got to trade/sell a few things – I got to soak up the beauty of Central Oregon in the Fall.  I didn’t find my camera til I got home – We’re back to slices of blue over the Pacific Ocean as the storms roll by. Seems to be our life right now – sitting secure in our home as the storms roll by.
