Jon ran up the back deck stairs and whipped into the dinning room asking for a camera. “Mom, there are really cool things in the forest today.” Out he dashed on a warm fall day.
From the looks of the dozens of shots he captured, he followed the wee little bird all around the forest, was intrigued by the different webs, fascinated by the array of new mushrooms and how they grew, and was in awe of the variety of colors of leaves. I love the glimpses into his walk. He has been spending more time in our side forest during this lingering dry fall. Makes a mama’s heart glad.
I love this!! What great pics!
I love this! Not only does he have super photography skills but you can see the joy he finds in nature. Isn’t it wonderful? I think kids learn so much from being outside – sights, smells, touch, problem-solving, developing immunity and really noticing what’s in our world. You can see he’s so engaged with nature.
