So – on the evening of Christmas Day 2016, I finally have the mental space to figure out how to blog again. If this posts – We’re good.
I’ve been having the most amazing time at a small private school in a valley 2 miles east of the Pacific Ocean. I can’t wait to share what we’ve been doing in our 4th – 7th grade classroom – which – to true Pebblekeeper / Petra School style – is done more outside than in. More in play and games than worksheets. More in conversation than just listening. It’s been amazing to go back and play again with the younger kids.
I still have the two boys at home, my oldest finishing up his Associates Degree with tons of after plans, and my younger son homeschooling 10th grade at home. Thanks to Mr. Demme, Mr. Pudewa, and The Series 101 Chemistry, I don’t need to be here all of the time for him.
Ok. So I’ll hit submit – and see how this goes. Here is me – wishing you – a happy end of the year. May you also have time to solve the tiny problems of the world like laptop troubles.
IT WAS SO GOOD TO GET YOUR UPDATE. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. ENJOY THE REST OF YOUR BREAK. LOVE YOU
Happy Christmas!
