February creates the best weather – Past the storms of the Winter, before the deluge of water in the Spring – comes the season we like best here in Lincoln City. Sunset Season.

Jon was disappointed we didn’t have time to drive the 7 miles to his favorite beach to make a driftwood fort. The rain had just passed over. Poor little dear can only go to the beach a mile from the house. 

So he soaked up the sunset rays of sunshine while I took photos.

He tried to help me set up a shot of birds flying into the sunset, but all they did was scoot over.

Maybe tomorrow we’ll head out and make driftwood forts. This was a perfect Sunset Season evening!
