Fear Not–You are in His Hand

There are wars and rumors of wars. There are natural disasters all around. We do not know truth from the media or our government. There is speculation of earthquakes that will rock the West coast like no one in our generation has ever experienced. Money is gone, and expenses are up. Marriages are being torn apart. Children in earshot of the news are getting nervous. What is a mamma to do? What advice can one give?  Well. I’ll leave that up to The Word.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee; Be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.P1000272 Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, Don’t be afraid, Fear not, Have no fear,  Don’t you be afraid –

Do not be dismayed, Don’t be discouraged, Do not anxiously look about you, Don’t be intimidated, Be not dismayed, Do not be looking about in trouble, Turn not aside, look not around –

FOR I AM YOUR GOD –  I will Help you, Give you strength, I have strengthened you – I will help you – I will uphold you

With my hand of righteousness, my true right hand will be your support, I will support you with my victorious right hand.

Anyway you translate it – the theme comes through clear.

Joshua heard it as a command  – Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Be – Ready. Be – Faithful. For He will Return – It is my only Hope.
