KinderBach- Music for Preschoolers

I wish I had known about KinderBach back when the boys were preschool aged.

The past couple of months we have been introduced to a company called KinderBach . They have created an online and DVD music class for preschool age children.  They engage the child with the visual of the video – the textile of using a keyboard as the watch – and the reading of using worksheets.  The videos are simple, bright a cute – but not distracting. The instructor engages the child through the screen – eye to eye – contact.

I went through several levels of the program to see how it progressed. I can say it would have been a program we really would have used in the pre-5 stage.  At this point, both boys have developed a musical awareness that exceeds their 7 online levels of lessons. This is more of a Music Theory lesson, than a straight – How to Play the Piano lesson.

They have free online lessons, sample e-book, coloring pages and song downloads online to see if it will match your child’s level – and a 30 day money back guarantee!

For the Online classes  –  $5.95 will get a one day day pass. The Year Membership is $95.88, or the monthly fee is $19.00.  Less than the cost of one 30 minute lesson from a private tutor!

DVD – You can purchase each level individually for about $40.00.  Year Membership
$95.88 annual or $19.99 monthly

“The KinderBach curriculum is a proven teaching method which gives children a solid music foundation, aligned with the MENC National Standards for Pre-K, that can translate to any instrument.  Basics are basics and KinderBach covers them using language children understand.  Youngsters will learn music vocabulary, note reading, rhythm, physical technique, ‘do, re mi’ singing, listening skills and music composition plus the joy in making music.” KinderBach Curriculum

Our family was able to go through all of the lesson and have access to the worksheets for a limited time for free to allow us to share it with you. If you have tiny ones begging to play on the computer – this game, video, music time

would be  worthwhile pursuit It might also give you time with an older while you homeschool.
