Zombies – One year later

Jon took a nature walk with a buddy up on the eastern side of the forest yesterday – I asked him how it went. . . .

He says – You remember that puddle we found? That had the tadpoles in it?  Well, now it is wet, shallow and muddy and has alot of bugs in it. My friend didn’t know what they were.

Then he gets a big knowing smile.

Jon does a little dance that sort of looks like a chicken walking   – and shares that they were doing “this (insert chicken dance here)” I  told him they were larvae mosquitos – remember the ones we studied last year? They were just like the little ones in the jar bopping back and forth.

And off he runs to play Roblox – skipping, humming and giggling all at the same time.

My heart is filled with  – of the wonder of boys, the faithfulness of the Father, and the joy of discovery!

Our  posts from last year – Mosquito Study – just incase you missed it. 😉
