A group of friend called the boys to go surfing on Monday – We said – YES!  The boys have been really wanting to get out into the waves.  This month – every Weds – they are going to attend a Surf Clinic being held by a family that goes to our church. Today is the first day – the boys are pretty excited! I’ll try not to load the site up with Surfing Photos – Jon asked me to post a few of these to show his friends!

He really really likes the feel of the waves, the pull. He was quoting penguins off of surfs up telling me how much more the movie made sense now.  Literary Genius that kid.

A group of pelicans kept surfing the waves behind him, back and forth.  What an amazing way to spend the afternoon.  BTW – this is the Pacific Northwest – I was told the water is under 50 degrees right now.  Brrrrrr.  He really wants a hoodie wetsuit now!
