I have had a conversation about boys in our town having “nothing to do”. My boys never seem to have enough hours in the day to do everything they want to do. They have a friend that lives across the street; we were involved in conversation with him about TV. Asking what shows he liked or if he wished he had tv, he replied – “We really don’t have time to watch tv.” I loved that response.
Here’s a video of a slice of my day today:
I sent him out to drag out the Christmas Tree from the storage under the house and instead he is mowing the yard. He’s one weird kid. Nathan says – “Did you notice how quiet the house got when Jon went outside?” Ya. That kid is a full day of motion and noise!
Hope you enjoy Nose Blowing!
I have a boy who always has plenty to do and thinks ‘out of the box’ as well. It was always interesting to open the freezer door while he was homeschooling – you never know what kind of an ‘experiment’ you would find in there. lol Enjoy the time with them – it goes quickly!
Funny you should mention that, I just cleaned out the freezer of forgotten experiments. The one this week was butterscotch topping used for glue to make mini marshmellow snowmen. Usually it is some object frozen into a water balloon, or some bug, animal, eeew. 😉
EXACTLY!
