Winter Tree Silouettes

Outdoor Hour Challenge – Winter Tree Silhouettes

P1000265

We have enjoyed quite a few years of year round tree study. This month at the Outdoor Hour Challenge we were reminded to look at our Tree Silhouettes. Nothing beats a beautiful tree in the still northwest waters!

The tree below is the one we pay attention to year round. It is on the side of our yard. We watch how the leaves come and go, the birds and animals, insects and critters that come by. My favorite site is when the lake is flat and the tree is without leaves.

Do you observe a tree year round?  How do your tree silhouettes look in February?

So pretty! Thank you for sharing your entry with the OHC Blog Carnival. Your tree silhouettes are beautiful reflecting in the water.

  4. We do look at the trees a lot but I have to admit that I have not thought about their silouttes. We will take time this week to do that! Thank you for reminding me about the outdoor hour challenge!

I love to hear from my readers, I appreciate comments!
