Just got back from the store  – found everything on our list! Pliers, Gesso, Wire, Book ends, Paper, Acrylic Paint, Screws, Wood, Masking Tape, Tin Foil, Newspaper, Chicken Wire, – etc.

We are excited to get started on a project in the new Artistic Pursuits book – Sculpture Technique – Construct. Jon is wanting to do a large 3 D Paper Mache. The base will be made out of all sorts of supplies, then wrapped and glued with the paper. It will be painted. Some of the paper will be the construction paper, wet down, molded and dried. I’ll give you 3 guesses what form he is wanting to create. . . . . 

I’m super stoked to be able to review this book this month. I’ll be sharing our project progress with you before the actual book review. We’ve been able to use both Jr High books and both High School Books – so we know we love the company – this one is quite different, totally different feel.  Stay tuned?
