Fall on the Oregon Coast– Surfing Dreams

Our local hidey spot was a bit large last Thursday when we headed out at dawn. We watched the beautiful waves, but I wasn’t ready to send the groms into it without an adult.

So we drove north to Pacific City . This is the joy of living here in the middle of the week at day break. We get the beach to ourselves!

I can’t say enough how much he loves his Russo Surfboard. Made for him for sure. He had a great day – 5 hours in the surf all together. I work nearby and can watch him from the window. It’s a good life. A really good life. – Cape Kiwanda Longboard Classic photos to come soon!!!

What a dream! Everytime we come to the coast (we live in the valley) I always dream of being able to live there and have the beaches to explore while homeschooling. I love reading about your adventures because we are so close, and know so many of the areas you talk about. We are looking forward to a fall trip out at the coast soon. I love that your boys surf too.

I love to hear from my readers, I appreciate comments!
