Getting a lot done during the Northwest Rain~

Just so ya don’t think it’s all mirror lakes and easy paddles. We’ve had a week of rain in the pacific northwest this week. We’ve gotten caught up on Math, Latin and History. The laundry is all put away and the floors are swept. Kitchen counters have been found once again and we’ve enjoyed afternoon Netflix movies. Hubby had a hose split on his truck so we’ve been sharing the Subaru GoCart this week as well.  It has been a good week of staying home!

Hard to share how hard the wind is blowing to create the waves on the lake!  This green is a true color. So bright!

The water was so high for so long this winter that we lost all of the sand out of the sand box. Now we have a rock box.  Still pretty fun! The grass and plants are growing back after being completely stripped by the crazy storms this winter. The water level was at the top of the ledge, onto the grass for several days this year.

It’s a good thing that the Lake Board didn’t put up the boards to have the lake higher, we’d have lost our plants for sure!  The waves are breaking before our sand box. I am happy!

Happy for a lower water line!

I haven’t been on the Walden SUP Board for two whole days.  Sigh. So sad. So so sad.

My newest little friend. A custom cut SUP Paddle from Werner that is PERFECT for me! My favorite purchase of the year so far. . . .Thanks to the Oregon Surf Shop!
