“Not” Back to School Blog Hop: School Room Week
Recently – I was asked to submit some photos “of our classroom”. What I found, when looking – is that I rarely take photos of the boys indoors. From the blog – we really are outside most of the time. I’ll share more during what our day looks like. When we do come inside to learn, we are often reading all three of us sprawled across my big bed, or around the kitchen table researching our questions, hanging out in the living room drawing, but – I only have one photo of us actually “learning” in the “School Room”. This year – I can’t remember who’s blog – sorry – but they encouraged me to call it the Learning Library. It is where we keep most of our supplies – there is a large table, all of my crafts are on the otherside not shown in the photos below. So – I’m sure other people will share – that the World is their classroom, that learning happens in the car, at the kitchen table, by the lake, and at the library – and I am thankful – that I need not plan our day of how to get the best use out of a 5 foot table – but how to enjoy the day best learning.
The actual Learning Library
Strange Enough- Food or Science Experiments seem to be in almost every shot.
Great pictures! Love the one of the water.
What a great view you have! Enjoy your year together!
love it! just visiting from the blog hop
There is something always interesting about peeking into someone else’s learning areas….thanks for sharing and entertaining us too!
I like the term “learning library.” It’s more accurate than “classroom.”
Looks like your boys stay busy! I love the view of the water!
Looks like your have a lot of fun!
Science Experiments are fun to take pictures of! 😉 Have a great school year!
I love all the natural light coming in your learning library. What a great place to learn! Hope you have a wonderful year.
Science experiments are the fun part of school in my opinion. They are in most of our pictures, too. I hope you have a great school year in these beautiful spaces.
Thanks for dropping by…isn’t it awesome when learning takes place everywhere?
Mostly food and science projects sound great! Lovely learning library (love that!) and I so enjoy reading about your days. 🙂
Love your Learning Library!! 😉 Have fun this year and Happy HOMEschooling. Thanks for sharing.
The “learning library” — that’s a fun name for it. Yours looks like a great space for learning when the kids have to wrangled indoors! I hope we’ll be outdoors more this year than we have in the last couple of years; one of my goals for the year!
Food & science = you have boys!
